Series : Electrical Apprentice Year 3 Series (A, B, C, & D)

Cost: $1,295.00

Description: This series is online with no designated meeting times. This series is four of four 8-week courses that comprise the Year 3 Electrical Apprentice training. Year three of the electrical apprenticeship program goes in-depth into the National Electrical Code to learn the proper design of various electrical installations. The student will learn to calculate service and individual loads for home and industry to ensure a safe and functional electrical system. Conductor sizing and protection, raceway fill, temperature issues, voltage drop, and box fill are covered. The student will also learn basic motor control and blueprint reading.

Description:
This series is completely online with no designated meeting times. This is all four of four 8-week courses that comprise the Year 2 Electrical Apprentice training. Year two of the Electrical Apprenticeship program covers AC theory including resistance, inductance, and capacitance. The student will learn 3-phrase power, transformers, motor operator, grounding, and calculating loads for sizing installations. These include circuit design for motors and transformers according to the National Electric Code.

The Nursing Assistant (NA) training course is offered in an online hybrid format. An online hybrid course combines face-to-face classroom instruction with online learning. Students must have access to a computer with internet to complete the online course work; a computer will not be provided by CWI.
The course includes 12 weeks of online lessons as well as 4 hours per week of onsite, in-person skills training. Following the completion of the online lessons and in-person skills training, you are required to complete 32 hours of clinical externship. You are then eligible to take the state of Idaho Nursing Assistant competency exam(s).
Students can access a class supply list via the digital download provided at the time of registration. Additional requirements will be discussed at the orientation on the first day of class. Students must be able to pass a background check and drug screen test. If you have a felony or certain misdemeanors on your record, you may not be assigned to a clinical site.
