Series:Electrical Apprentice Year 1 Series (A, B, C, & D)
This series is online with no designated meeting times. This is four of four 8-week courses that comprise the Year 1 Electrical Apprentice training. Year one of the electrical apprenticeship program covers DC theory, calculating electrical values using Ohm's Law as applied to series, parallel, and combination circuits and electrical equipment. Electrical meters and their use are covered, as well as alternative energy sources. In addition, the student will overview the entire National Electrical Code and learn the proper application of various wiring methods and conductor properties, sizing, and protection.
