Electrical Apprentice Year 3: Course B; This is one of four 8-week courses that comprise the Year 3 Electrical Apprentice training. Year three of the electrical apprenticeship program goes in-depth in the National Electrical Code to learn the proper design of various electrical installations. The student will learn to calculate service and individual loads for home and industry to ensure a safe and functional electrical system. Conductor sizing and protection, raceway fill, temperature issues, voltage drop, and box fill are covered. The student will also learn basic motor control and blueprint reading.
