This class is online with no designated meeting times. Electrical Apprentice Year 2: Course D; This is one of four 8-week courses that comprise the Year 2 Electrical Apprentice training. Year two of the electrical apprenticeship program covers AC theory including resistance, inductance, and capacitance. Circuit calculations are covered in both series and parallel. The student will learn 3-phase power, transformers, motor operation, grounding, and calculating loads for sizing installations. These include circuit design for motors and transformers according to the National Electrical Code.
