Series:Electrical Apprentice Year 2 Series (A, B, C, & D)
TEACHER LED SERIES. This class is offered in the Hyflex format, meaning the work can be accomplished online with the opportunity to attend weekly classes either In-person or via Zoom.
Year two of the electrical apprenticeship program covers AC theory including resistance, inductance, and capacitance. Circuit calculations are covered in both series and parallel. The student will learn 3-phase power, transformers, motor operation, grounding, and calculating loads for sizing installations. These include circuit design for motors and transformers according to the National Electrical Code.
