HVAC Apprentice Year 2: Course A Online Only (January Cohort 1 of 4)

Please read:  The class is online with no designated meeting times. Students can contact Instructor for assistance. Before moving to the next quarter, a passing grade of 70% or better is required in your registered quarter (A, B, C, or D). If you receive a grade of less than 70% in your registered quarter, you must enroll in that quarter again and successfully complete it with a passing grade before moving on to the next quarter. New Student Login Instructions Do not try to log into Blackboard until you change your password by following the instructions below. What is Blackboard? • Blackboard is a web-based system that provides your instructor with tools to manage a course and for students to interact with the content, the instructor, and other students. • Blackboard allows instructors to supplement a course with an online component, or to teach a class completely online. How to Login First Time • Go to logonhelp.cwi.edu –select Enroll, and then select Reset Password – It must be at least 8 characters, must include upper and lower characters, a number and special character, and can’t include your name. (This should be something you know love and won’t forget.) • Your user name is your first name and last name – no spacing or capitalization o Or your school email janedoe@my.cwi.edu for first time log in • Your temporary password is the first and last initials of your name in capital letters followed by the word ‘logon’ in lowercase letters and the last four digits of your social security number (example JDlogon1234). If you do not have a social security number on file with CWI, it will be the last four digits of your student ID number. • Go to www.cwi.edu • Click on Quick Links at top of the page • From the drop-down menu, click Blackboard • Use your user name and password you created in step 1 You can also type CWI blackboard into your browser search page and find it.
