This course is designed to meet the Idaho State requirements for the 60 hours of education in fuel gas code and piping installation required to obtain the Specialty Journeyman license. Students will need 2000 hours working with a licensed specialty Journeyman to obtain the license.
This course does not qualify the technician to test for the HVAC Journeyman License.
Under Course Information, you will find the required textbooks. Some material used in the course may be found under Course Documents.
All the quizzes in this course are open book and are designed to help the technician learn and retain the material necessary to safely install gas appliances and associated piping and venting.
The student must achieve a minimum of 70% to pass the course.
